I'd just like to warn everyone in advance...I went WAY overboard this week.  I'm sorry.  I just really, REALLY love taking portraits.  I edited all of these, both to hone my skills using the editing software and to make sure that they were the very best they could be.  Most are from this week, but there are a few I just needed an excuse to play with left over from weeks past.

I like my portraits to capture the subject's personality as fully as a photograph allows.  I love taking candid shots the most, but I've been trying to work on studio-style posed portraits for the kiddos.  The only difficulty I ran into was trying to decide which pictures to put up here, so that I have a pretty good mix of subjects and an about even posed-to-candid ratio.  Hope everyone else had as much fun this week as I did!
