It's been awfully rainy, and searching for four landscapes good enough to be considered my favorites was a struggle. After traipsing around all over the place looking for things to take pictures of (shout out to my long-suffering best friend who had to deal with me shouting 'stop the car!' and running back to get a pretty picture or two) I think I did, eventually, manage to find some I liked. However, I learned that it's hard to go looking for the perfect landscape, so to appreciate the times it finds you.

ReplyDeletegreat pictures, the first two are my favorites. I love the tree in the first one and like that fact that it is the main focus of that photo. I love the the framing of the second one, the way the trees have framed the water.
ReplyDeleteThe woods photo is my favorite it is so peaceful and relaxing. I love the feel of privacy it gives too, a spot to meditate perhaps. I also feel your pain with the weather...:( If my garden looked better I might have used that but it looks sad right now. haha. Hopefully it turns around soon
ReplyDeleteYour first photo is my favorite. The lighting and the texture of the grass is great, and contrasts with the soft sky really well. Beautiful job this week!
